PERSONALITY: A bit shy and retiring, but has been put through his paces before in terms of... difficult endeavors... and really knows how to grit his teeth and get shit done. Kind of jumpy, definitely a scrub lord, has some PTSD from escaping the site of some really ugly experiments being done in a secluded asylum. Despite having a lot of violence directed at him, kind of has to believe violence isn't the answer because it's entirely too slippery a slope to the horrible things he's seen. Good guy. Socially awkward.
DESIRED CR: He's brand spanking new, so none of the CR slots are filled, he's also a new character for me so I'm not even entirely sure what really works for him, just kind of gotta throw him in there and see! A few points of connection would be that he's a software engineer, husband, father, very normal world kind of guy until that ugly shit at the asylum. Needs some friends, needs some peers, needs some guidance in fantasy lander nonsense.

RECAP: He kind of took the last mission hard because of the whole Deemer memory loss thing (in canon he's losing all his own memories so it's the worst thing he can think of and he wanted to kill them all but was prevented from doing so by Haise!), and has thawed just the TINIEST bit in regard to being part of the Audentes thanks to the holiday stuff. Very, very slowly beginning to hate being here somewhat less? haha.
PLANS: Not much right now other than getting him to engage with people more and to eventually get him to realise he's better off with the Audentes than he is going home!

PERSONALITY: his affect is generally cool to blank with strangers and acquaintances; he projects confidence and charisma and is very good at reading people, even people he doesn't know that well. with close cr or people who happen upon one of his particular interests (flowers! bugs! food! fashion! crime!), he's capable of being very bubbly and effusive. he feels things very strongly and has a black-and-white worldview despite being a criminal--he has a strong sense of justice, although he sees no particular problem with manipulating people in the name of said justice. when legitimately upset, his demeanor shifts to something a lot more childlike, and he has a hell of a lot of deep-seated abandonment issues that one does not get to access until tier 10 cr, probably.
DESIRED CR: giorno has a good mix of cr right now, which i'm excited about! i think the big slot open is someone who will call him on his shit and not let him get away with stuff, but that's a hard one to fill. i won't ever say no to different kinds of cr, but that's always a fun one, and i like negative cr especially.

RECAP: giorno got to do a lot of morality-adjacent criminalizing in perdition's rest and has been distracting himself aggressively from his own loneliness and fear since the return to oska by bullying people and making stupid choices.
PLANS: honestly his overall plans are to get everyone in audentes to pay attention to him. beyond that he's still trying to find his footing in terms of who he wants to present him as here as opposed to who he was presenting himself as at home and struggling a lot with that.

What I can offer is one (1) grumpy Irish journalist who is definitely the type to call Giorno out because he pretty much calls out everyone, even his best friends, the number of which he has is like...two. ALSO an interesting thing is that he has magical powers that are weirdly Stand-like (aka monstrous souls he can manifest outside of himself) so there might be an interesting connection there! Jin is descended from a long line of Shaolin monks who have been saving his Earth from evil for like 600 years! He's brave, strong, has all that shonen protagonist morality you'd expect... but is also mean and petty and sometimes likes to be a jerk just because he's bored I guess. He's growing out of this, though, and learning to work with everybody a little more easily, as well as growing out of his impulsive, emotional tendencies. Under it all, he's got a good heart, and an eager, inquisitive mind.

His current CR has gotten him to chill out a little, and he's in the process of being beaten half to death by Urahara in a bid to get Stronger, but as a whole he's still the same lovable (???) jerk he's always been. Just with more friends or something.

Perdition's Rest was A Wild Time for Jin with the overall lesson of "you can't be so impulsive all the time" / "you cannot save the world by yourself, idiot" getting drilled into his head fairly solidly! He almost died three times and learned the power of friendship and shit, soooo he's going to be taking a slightly more reserved, cerebral-as-opposed-to-fighty role this mission, which is great, cause punching's gonna take a back seat to everything else in Woodhurst I assume. He's hiding a not-so-big secret (he has basically metal-bending powers) but besides that he tends to run at the mouth and maybe not think about the repercussions of his words. Oops. Oh and did I mention he is 17 and a criminal? Yes.
DESIRED CR: All CR! December and late November got away from me due to rl/murdergame shenanigans but I am back in force for 2017 (hopefully) Especially still looking for Jesper to make some... at least adult acquaintances who are concerned with his 'life fast, die young' lifestyle but he's not gonna change too quick in any case.

RECAP: Jesper spent a night in jail in Perdition's Rest (for trying to rob the munitions' store, oops) but also helped destroy a lot of the fracking fields so he totally did A Good Thing back then. Since returning to Oska he's managed to un-alienate his friends and is pretty damn happy with parties between missions and what-have-you but he hasn't hit a gambling hall in months and it's tearing him up inside.
PLANS: I bought Jesper a power upgrade this last AC so I'm hoping he'll actually stop being so hush-hush about his powers and start actually using them... I mean dodging bullets and never missing is useful but some actual conscious fabrikating is where I want to get this boy.

BACKSTORY: OH BOY Jesper loves going undercover for things like dumb crimes. If he can get his hands on a fake-ID he is definitely going for 21 so he can drink and gamble (gosh, he's old enough to do it in his canon!) but if he really has to come up with a cover story he'll probably say he's a college student, since he kinda was back in his canon. You know, before all the crime happened.

RECAP: Ramir is super proud of everyone for having survived a big violent final fight again, YOU GUYS ARE JUST SO GREAT. She's also in a supremely good mood because Oska-time is (usually) great and she loves it, what a nice relaxing time. Insanely talented scientist, insanely talented swordsman, insanely talented pseudo-magic user. He's unreal.

DESIRED CR: People to mentor. People who can maybe get him to trust and open up some, which is so hard. It's just... so hard. Science nerds. All the things.

RECAP: When Urahara first arrived, he did his best to pretend to be nothing more than an average candy store owner, avoiding fights like the plague and trying to keep as much of his power a secret as he could. When Perdition's Rest rolled around, he began to open up a little more, driven to the point by the realization that he'd intensely pursued one lead, while ignoring all other signs. This led to him pushing himself to the brink during the final battle of Perdition's Rest, culiminating in a confrontation with a Zymandis agent who got the upper hand on him.

Since then, he's been a bit more open about his abilities, though only a few people know he's a shinigami. Since returning to Oska, he's thrown himself into various projects to distract himself, including using Taraxa blood samples to make a device capable of analyzing bio-patterns in the locals of whatever the world they visit to make sure they aren't surprised by another infiltration.

PLANS: Urahara has several projects he's working on, including the previously mentioned Taraxa Project, something capable of storing reitasu to be drawn upon whenever needed (for Elias), and an assortment of others. His major goal at some point is to set up an Audentes Research Division.

Ideally, maybe he can grow as a character and not be a giant dick, while still maintaing his pragmatism, but we'll see about that one.

You know damn well Urahara's gonna use his skills in making vaccines and antidotes to try and solve the problem and figure out where the virus came from. He will devote all his time to that. Holy shit. Come nerd with him, guys.

MISSION SPECIFIC.
BACKSTORY: Urahara will probably make up the first thing that comes to his head when people ask what he's doing, which will probably be an elaborate story involving witness protection and having to move away from his shop to keep people from asking too many questions. He just wants to live his life.

RECAP: Twisted Fate spent Perdition's Rest trying to balance between his selfishness vs what's useful for the team because Koltira told him to be better about it. The biggest shift for him is that he's in a romantic relationship with your resident dead elf guy, who has been influencing him to work off of his conscience more and be better with his morals. He still feels weird about this, but he is starting to be a little less of a dick.
PLANS: Due to one of his recent conversations with Koltira, Twisted Fate is going to go on a personal question to find a way to become immortal. I have no idea how this will conclude or how successful he will be, but he figures he has time to get it figured out, but he will be investigating methods on how to extend his own longetivity. T.F. also has an egg he received from Lloyd that's not a squidge egg, and he's supposed to care for it. Ew, responsibility.

Also worth noting: I'm afraid due to circumstances, I'm gonna handwave that Twisted Fate has done his magic show. It was a mix of parlor tricks (sawing Olivia in half, pulling some adorable rodent out of a hat) and actual magic (disguising himself, card tricks, teleporting, etc.) and it was flashy and ridiculous.

RECAP: His four months on the team have left him conflicted, to say the least. While being around a bunch of awesome hero types has definitely kicked his ego down a notch, he's now spent the equivalent of a semester here, meaning that the people he's come to meet are people he knows just as well as the folks he does back home. His very sheltered life has left him bereft of many important skills or qualities, and while this is an unsettling thought, he's dedicated to taking this time to grow in ways that he never really could have in his own world. That, and the friends he's made here are amazing! So, lots of bittersweet development for him.

PLANS: Asher is gonna be cozying it up to the locals and doing his best to blend in, as networking and schmoozing are two things he's actually pretty good at. Fashion, lingo, mannerisms, all of it. Plus, he was born in the 90s and is overall nostalgic for the era, and this world resembles his own save for a few minor glitches. He will be very invested in finding the source of the virus, as from the dossier he suspects that it might have started as an act of bioterrorism, and is looking for anyone/or specific groups that may want to target the downfall of this particular city/society.

BACKSTORY: Courtesy of ALASTAIR, Asher has been given a job at a local legal firm, similar to what a law student in his own world would get. As a result he'll be doing a lot of detective work while getting close to executives and politicians, and any older men who might have a soft spot for people who remind them of a younger version of themselves. There's no guarantee he won't be romancing some lonely middle-aged women either, especially if they happen to be secretaries for businessmen or government officials, which could get him into trouble, but that's half the fun.

That being said, after feeling down and out last mission because he's not really the fighting/warrior type, Asher will be tackling this one full throttle. That means he might be hitting up your character for something he needs or wants, so holler at me if you're interested!

He's also Haise's superior and is pretty much trying to mend what constitutes as a "relationship" with him.

I really would love to have people try to get him to open up about himself. It might take a little longer then a few threads though. Vaughn is a tiny, excitable dweeb right now, but the dweebness will be dialed down quite a bit post-update. He'll still be a very friendly dude, but he'll finally have a healthy amount of self-confidence, which might make him a little easier to deal with. Survival skills will also be significantly upgraded, so that will help with the whole zombie thing... except he's also very cuddly, so he'll absolutely be trying to hug zombies. Like, possibly all of them, danger to his person be damned. You can't escape. He'll also be a hell of a lot less sheltered and thus less likely to be amazed by almost anything, but he will still be very appreciative of Cool Shit.

RECAP: Unfortunately I went through a pretty serious slump through most of PR, but I'm hoping to make up for it on this mission. He spent the final battle hiding in the ghost town with Rhys because they were useless, and then he annoyed some people afterwards (and at the ball). Good times.
PLANS: I'm not sure if there's anything specific I'd like to do in the next couple of weeks before I update him, but when I do I'm mostly just looking forward to him being actually competent in terms of missions (other than talking to people about money and boosting the economy by buying aforementioned stupid shit). Not sure if I want to sign him up to be infected or not, because I feel like it might kind of defeat the purpose of updating for the mission if he got sick, but we'll see. PERSONALITY: Fugo is ........ a mess. Most of the time he's either quiet and worried or snappy and crabby. He defaults to politeness most of the time, although he's pointedly and obviously suspicious of adults and authority figures. When he's feeling particularly bad, he's flat and distant. He gives off the impression of someone who is both tightly controlled and a hair's breadth of losing that control. He does have a dry sense of humor underneath his dour personality, but it's been like half a year since it's seen the light of day. A final note is that he is bleedingly loyal to Giorno in a way that is likely to come off as pretty unsettling for people who aren't involved with organized crime.
DESIRED CR: I just brought Fugo in so I'm down with anything and everything! Fugo is pretty abrasive and can be stubborn/petty when it comes to people he dislikes, so I'm fine and open to negative and positive CR.
OFFERED CR: Do you want a grumpy character to bicker with? Fugo's great for that! He's also very well educated and is distantly interested in Just About Everything, so he knows approximately one million useless academic facts. He's nonplussed in the face of supernatural things, although closemouthed about why it's really hard to weird him out. He's also big on Criminal Activity and has a pretty off-kilter sense of right of wrong; his skills include putting together plans for major operations, breaking and entering, pick-pocketing, and murdering people with his Stand. He's also a worrywart, so once he gets close enough to like something he's like a weird, teenage mom friend. A final note: unlike Giorno, who is cute and glamorous, Fugo has a truly terrible sense of fashion and will be gleefully embracing 90s neon fashion while on the mission.

The most important person in her life is her son, Henry, and Emma has become such a mom since he came into her life. Though she hasn't had a lot of significant connections in her life, Emma is a good friend who could offer some supportive CR and might also be in need of that herself. BACKSTORY: Working on it, but thinking of making him a sales clerk in a music store... maybe. for like 5 minutes. Having a Real Job is Hard and he'll probably suck at it.

PERSONALITY: At first glance, Elizabeth comes off as sunny as the smile painted on her face. Well-mannered, insightful and curious, Elizabeth contrasts the world in which she was raised into. Her entire life, she was isolated within a tower - watching from afar the delight that Columbia seemed to offer. The girl was special, 'gifted' with the ability to look into other worlds through tears of the dimension.

Kept in a tower alone, it isn't until a grifter named Booker DeWitt appears that she questions her captive role. Booker sparks her need to live her life outside of the prison she called home which ends up in some long-winded adventure (in her mind) to Paris. For the most part, Elizabeth is very much a sensible young woman. Her morals are good-natured and she shows a cordial set of manners. However, she has actions that reflect her isolation over the years bordering childish or impulsive. Elizabeth desperately is trying to understand the world and her place in it, offering her assistance throughout the game as long as she gets answers in return.

- Baddies! Elizabeth is notoriously naive and impressionable. She can have the best intentions in the world but if there's a baddie to intercept her (especially with her powers) that can prove to be interesting.

PERSONALITY: Dipper is a normal kid who takes himself too seriously and is in a constant struggle to find his role within Audentes -- being a kid in a team full of superpowered/magically inclined folks makes for hard times, y'know. He's a brainy smarts guy and knows it, is kind of awkward, isn't what you'd call a social butterfly, but overall he has a big heart, especially toward those he grows close to. The most obvious thing about Dipper though is that he's really into the idea of having the adventure of a lifetime and is pretty much obsessed with the supernatural/paranormal/basically anything that isn't boring realworld stuff. Thanks to his time back in Gravity Falls, Dipper likes to claim he's a paranormal expert, although being in ALASTAIR has been showing him he's still got a long way to go.
DESIRED CR: I will take e v e r y t h i n g because I want to thread with everyone!! But to lay down a few specifics:

FRIENDS, always. If you want to be friends then so does he!! Dipper is a pretty open book; he's willing to talk about himself or whatever is on his mind, so getting to know him isn't difficult.

If we have threaded even a little then I promise you I'd love to follow up on it more.

I'm down for negative cr too, yo. Dipper holds grudges if anyone does something to cheese him off BUT HEY, someone needs to pester this kid, right.

Alternatively, Dipper is a pretty good companion for all your adventuring escapades. I wouldn't rely on him to fight anything, but he's the Man With A Plan and is pretty good at figuring stuff out.

Can you do a cool thing? DIPPER WANTS TO MEET YOU. Show him your cool thing. Talk to him about your cool thing. He will think it's cool in the most excitedly eager way possible. Your ego will appreciate it.

Very knowledgable about supernatural/paranormal business. In case anyone needs that or wants to talk about it! He's not even a little magical himself but boooooy... boy. He lives for this shit.

Also Dipper's been around since Chantes and keeps pretty extensive notes about his experiences so anyone who wants to know what's been up is welcome to come to him.

In Woodhurst, however!! Dipper has actual experience with zombies, but the GF universe brand -- while legitimately dangerous -- have some really silly methods of dealing with them, so a lot of his ideas might strike as... equally weird. And likely futile, because Woodhurst's aren't true undead. But darnit he's gonna try anyway, regardless of how effective anything is. We shall see!

BACKSTORY: Luckily Dipper is already an average normie from California, so he's going to blend in really well and wing everything else. ... Though, coming from 2012, he will definitely keep forgetting stuff like the internet and mp3 players and smartphones and gaming consoles of today aren't a thing. NAME: Elias Ainsworth
CANON: The Ancient Magus' Bride
PERSONALITY: A pretty interesting guy, for someone who claims to not genuinely harbor human emotions. Elias is an enigmatic entity who, for the most part, presents himself as very genteel and genial despite his rather demonic appearance. This is largely borne from a personal prerogative to avoid issue rather than natural kindness, which he claims to lack. As a mage, Elias seems ancient and wise, oftentimes offering insightful points on the subject of magic. As an individual, however, he can be a little stilted for conversation, not really having done much small talk in the last few hundred years. He is especially naive when it comes to manners of emotions, which he says he does not naturally feel, though he has had a few inklings ever since taking on a human apprentice some year or so ago. Without her around, however, that's become something of an arrested development...
DESIRED CR: CURRENTLY I am extremely interested in addressing that last point about his weird emotional (lack thereof??) state! In his current canonpoint, he was beginning to feel Fledgling Emotions due to his exposure to Chise, his human apprentice! Though his attachment isn't quite as in-depth to anyone else here as that, I would love to get him into situations where he feels fragments of things for people, such as concern, anger, or genuine happiness at their being around! In addition to this, and especially in light of the next mission (which will partially require appearing human and the like), he needs people to continue to tutor him in everything it means to be human! Which is just... everything, basically. Emotions, expressions, turns of phrase, etc. He's going to be using his human glamour/the cloaking device throughout the mission so there will be plenty of opportunity.
OFFERED CR: Elias is always around to talk about magic, and also tutor people who are skilled in it in his own manner of spell-casting (mileage of others attempting this may vary). He is also a very remarkable herbalist and is able to make magical panacea (medicine) to help nearly any ailment, so if you have any pains, sicknesses, or symptoms, just let him know! Conversely, Elias can be a rather prickly person who can sometimes too quickly make a judgment of someone and be a little stubborn about changing it... so if you are a person who wants more negative CR... especially if you don't take kindly to criticisms of ALASTAIR because he's really not all that about them right now.
