CHARACTER INFO.
NAME: Elias Ainsworth
CANON: The Ancient Magus' Bride
PERSONALITY: A pretty interesting guy, for someone who claims to not genuinely harbor human emotions. Elias is an enigmatic entity who, for the most part, presents himself as very genteel and genial despite his rather demonic appearance. This is largely borne from a personal prerogative to avoid issue rather than natural kindness, which he claims to lack. As a mage, Elias seems ancient and wise, oftentimes offering insightful points on the subject of magic. As an individual, however, he can be a little stilted for conversation, not really having done much small talk in the last few hundred years. He is especially naive when it comes to manners of emotions, which he says he does not naturally feel, though he has had a few inklings ever since taking on a human apprentice some year or so ago. Without her around, however, that's become something of an arrested development...
DESIRED CR: CURRENTLY I am extremely interested in addressing that last point about his weird emotional (lack thereof??) state! In his current canonpoint, he was beginning to feel Fledgling Emotions due to his exposure to Chise, his human apprentice! Though his attachment isn't quite as in-depth to anyone else here as that, I would love to get him into situations where he feels fragments of things for people, such as concern, anger, or genuine happiness at their being around! In addition to this, and especially in light of the next mission (which will partially require appearing human and the like), he needs people to continue to tutor him in everything it means to be human! Which is just... everything, basically. Emotions, expressions, turns of phrase, etc. He's going to be using his human glamour/the cloaking device throughout the mission so there will be plenty of opportunity.
OFFERED CR: Elias is always around to talk about magic, and also tutor people who are skilled in it in his own manner of spell-casting (mileage of others attempting this may vary). He is also a very remarkable herbalist and is able to make magical panacea (medicine) to help nearly any ailment, so if you have any pains, sicknesses, or symptoms, just let him know! Conversely, Elias can be a rather prickly person who can sometimes too quickly make a judgment of someone and be a little stubborn about changing it... so if you are a person who wants more negative CR... especially if you don't take kindly to criticisms of ALASTAIR because he's really not all that about them right now.

MISSION SPECIFIC.
BACKSTORY: Elias is mostly going to be looking like this throughout the mission. As for what he's going to be doing, well, he's going to set up shop in what he is going to view as a pharmacy, though it'll look more like an alternative medicine store from the outside.
HOUSING: I think I'm probably gonna hit the randomizer on this unless someone else has any thoughts about it??
