TAGGING HABITS: I try to hit my tags once a day. It does not always work that way, especially on days when I work. Also I have a pretty heavy work schedule during the weekends, so I tend to be pretty sparse on tagging then. I DO MY BEST.
INTERESTS: Multiple animated series that are definitely aimed at children but shut up I love them, crying forever over Guardians of the Galaxy, analyzing every fandom I'm in to the nth degree, talking about Bleach years after it's socially acceptable to talk about Bleach.
Kisuke "Bitches Get Stitches" Urahara
NAME: Kisuke Urahara
CANON: Bleach
PERSONALITY: A humble shopkeeper who is in no way shady and a kind and gentle soul-ahahaha I'm sorry. No one believes that anymore.
Urahara is at best, a generally kind-hearted genius who wants the best for the world at whole, and at worst is a pragmatic chessmaster who doesn't shy away from sacrifices to get the best possible scenario, even though he may not like it. He puts those hard choices on his own shoulders and bears the guilt of what he's had to manipulate people into doing. He never makes people go against their nature, but he does push them into some pretty awful circumstances and he knows it.
He's an insufferable know-it-all who has to plan for every possible scenario, and while he normally keeps his plans and theories to himself, the team is too big for that to work, so yes, he does tend to openly throw theories out to see what comes of people reacting to them.
He's not a nice person, even if he pretends to be a doofus. He can be cold and calculated when he wants to be, and he hides most of that behind this friendly, cheerful veneer. He would rather people didn't know he has a pretty aggressive dark side.
Also he's a badass genius ninja swordsman with magical powers. And his sword has a spirit he can talk to. She's mean.
DESIRED CR: PEOPLE TO GET CLOSER TO HIM. HOLY SHIT. He's actually opened up to a few people about some things, but still less than like... 10% of the game know what he even is much less anything deep about him. SHOVE VIOLENTLY ON THOSE WALLS.
OFFERED CR: A shady shounen mentor figure, because everyone needs those. A science buddy. A guy interested in all your problems because he sure likes solving them.

RECAP: After feeling like he suffered a devastating personal loss in Perdition's Rest by not focusing on the right part of the mission and thus missing all the clues about the Deemers and thus Zymandis, Urahara threw himself full force into this mission, turning towards finding a cure and a vaccine and single-mindedly obsessing over it with the other members of Team Science.
The infection reminded him deeply of the Hollowfication Incident, giving him further cause to cure it, all while wondering if he was going to end up repeating history if he isn't careful, going as far as to explain that dark secret to Sieglinde in the hopes she could recognize if he started pushing the experiments too far and pull him back.
After trying to assist Nyuu/Lucy who was infected, he became infected as well, though he's still working in the hospital for now, until he can fully transfer his work to the quarantine area in a few weeks. Right now, he's in his second week of infection and has been preparing for the inevitable by putting seals on himself to keep his reiatsu output from getting too high.
He's also been trying to maneuver people behind the scenes, because he believes Zymandis has set a trap and is trying to plan around whatever plan they might have. It's not really going that well, but dammit he can't do everything.
PLANS: BRING THE CURE AND VACCINE INTO FRUITION. STAY TUNED FOR THAT. And then he's gonna fucking rest, hopefully, because holy shit that was a wild ride.

like i said, i enjoy their cr in that they are both able to kind of comfortably call each other out. i can definitely see her opening up to urahara because she doesn't feel like he'd judge her................ cough because he is not a good person himself cough sorry BUT DON'T MISUNDERSTAND i would definitely work on making it mutual >:c

Peridot "Lime Green Drama Queen"
NAME: Peridot
CANON: Steven Universe
PERSONALITY: Magic rock person. Temperamental ball of rage in a 4'9 frame. Braggart and aggrandizer. Extremely gay and confused. Recently became a fan of crime. Rational and logical, until she gets frustrated and all hell breaks loose. Craves validation and praise. Everyone's angry little sister. Gem technician and kindergartner (that doesn't mean what you think it means). Very adaptive. Can manipulate metal because she can produce her own low level magnetic field.
She also has a pumpkin dog.
DESIRED CR: I hate being THAT PERSON, but give me all the things. She's a delight and has so much good CR already. Let's probe deeper. AND TELL HER SHE'S GOOD AND SMART AND IMPORTANT... I guess.
OFFERED CR: A tiny green bean little sister who doesn't understand most Earth things, but thinks she knows everything anyway. The sassy green friend you never knew you wanted. A BUDDING CRIMINAL. THANKS FOR THAT, CROWS.

RECAP: Peridot arrived on this mission, expecting to just be a rock shield for the people who can get infected, but after working with Mettaton and discovering that the two of them were right on the money, she's developed a bit of an ego about her place in this mission and her position in the team hierarchy.
However, since she got closer to Lance on this mission and he got infected, she's become more determined than ever to be useful, and that's gonna lead to her mall escapades. GO HUGFEST '93.
PLANS: She's gonna WRECK SOME SHIT at the mall, like a little green Romero heroine. With metal powers.

LOL YEAH, THEY ARE JUST DRIVING ALONG AT TOP SPEED. I'm excited to see where their CR goes. They are cute little things.
