TL;FIRST IMPRESSIONS It's been a month since the opening of the game, everyone's gotten to know eachother! Between what needs to be done, of course. That means it's time for some first impressions! This is pretty simple (it's just a tl;cr meme in disguise): — Make a comment with your character's name in the title. — Comment to people. Receive some words. — Reply to your own comments with lots of words. — Words, probably.

If it wasn't already immediately obvious, Riza quite likes Julius! It helped that they were both military and already sort of on the same-ish wavelength in terms of discipline, responsibility, approach to the mission, etc. She's used to be the soldier and not the strategist, so having the familiarity of someone who ranks above her and is actually competent really helped her settle in faster than she otherwise might have. The fact that he's several years younger doesn't really bother her much - if he could be made Captain at his age, then clearly he's someone with a lot of experience under his belt and that's worthy of respect. (Also it helps a lot that he actually focuses on his work and doesn't run around going on dates half the time.)

Besides that, she likes the fact that he cares a lot about the people and not just himself. She's used to too many higher-ups using their power to play their own personal games for gain and it's a little disillusioning, so it's definitely nice to be around someone who really cares. She's got his back if he never needs her, as well as a willing ear if he just wants to talk. Also she probably checks in with him semi-frequently, with whatever updates she finds out or to make sure he's okay after major events.

tl;dr she had good first impressions of him when they first met and her good opinion of him only serves to grow!
