Welp this could be the CR I never knew I wanted!! Right down to being able to pull Phoenix's straight ass out of trouble he gets into. Masa would really admire his dedication of defending people to the end regardless of odds if he believes their innocence.

Not to mention all the internal snark ammo he'll have from being around someone like Masamune...

The fake answer is because Masamune and Dante from DmC in the same game would be like dividing by zero and everything would break.

--the real answer is Kobayashi is super protective of his characters and hates them in other games and it's ridiculous effort for them (capcom) to convince him otherwise--
