Welcome to the second CR Meme of Futurology S2! Have fun and be good to each other.

MISSION: DRAKSTADEN PLOTTING

After Mission: Azeria (the test drive meme), characters will have spent a week on Headquarters before receiving the dossier for Mission: Drakstaden. They will have another week to prepare, after which they will be rifted to another universe.

Mission breakdown:

The first log will go up on 15 April.
The mission is tentatively scheduled to last until mid-June, but this may change depending on character action.
The Bounty Board will be updated once the mission begins.
There will be a locations page up by 15 April.
View the dossier for all ICly-known information about what to expect.
Characters are encouraged to blend in, and will be outfitted with appropriate clothing before their arrival. For characters who cannot pass as human, they will be provided with cloaking devices that will allow all non-Hathaway personnel to view them as natives.
You can ask questions about the mission on the dossier, or ask game-related questions on the FAQ.

▸ TAGGING HABITS: I tend to tag from 10 AM to 6 PM PST. I've been clearing out my inbox before bed recently, but I tend to cherry pick in the evening! I clear my inbox almost every day unless I'm busy.

▸ CANON: Voltron: Legendary Defender
▸ SPECIALIZATION: Bruiser (Lvl 2)
▸ FILE: Keith doesn't have a last name.

▸ PERSONALITY: Prickly and evasive about his feelings, Keith can seem like a hard nut to crack at times. He isn't very good at other people because he's socially awkward, and he isn't always the best at reading social cues (or even being aware that a particular social cue exists). He's a burgeoning leader, but he's not entirely confident in that (and is about to take a blow to his confidence soon).
▸ DESIRED CR: People who will push and challenge Keith, buddy cop moments where Keith is the straight man, training montage CR (since those can be hard to RP), negative CR.
▸ OFFERED CR: A prickly guy who's good for negative CR (though it may not remain that way—Keith can warm up to someone surprisingly quickly if given the chance). Training (fighting and piloting, though obviously the latter isn't in play unless they're at the HQ). Slow burn friendships. Stupid arguments about nothing.
▸ PLANS: Keith will be keen about exploring and doing "in the shadows" type stuff in this world. His usual undercover plan is to get a job and see how it can be used. He has a stealth suit and stealth gear that he'll be bringing along on this mission.

▸ CANON: Riverdale
▸ SPECIALIZATION: Negotiator
▸ FILE: Veronica does have a last name.

▸ PERSONALITY: Veronica is the outgoing half of the Betty&Veronica duo on Riverdale, making her an extremely extroverted teenager who doesn't seem to realize when she's in over her head. The funny thing is, she does know, as she's the voice of reason when it comes to a lot of antics in the show. (Veronica isn't one for optimism, though her cherry personality may indicate a different perspective.) She is a bit of a romantic when it comes to ideal friendships, but intimacy beyond that can be a little hard. Not that she makes this obvious at all. Above all else, she's a force of nature when she wants to get something done.
▸ DESIRED CR: Friends, people to argue with, makeover opportunities, and people who will help Veronica despite the fact that she has to act as if she's a member of the lower class (she's got reading glasses). She'll be acting as Lance's sister for the mission, so Lance's CR (if it doesn't overlap) would be fun!
▸ OFFERED CR: Veronica is good for both slice of life-style CR (makeovers, dancing, singing, shit like that) and also for enabling people into doing something ... or questioning whether it's a good idea. She's both an enabler and someone who can balance out someone else's poor decisions. She's not opposed to doing things that are outside of her wheelhouse, so dangerous plans or whatever. She's the daughter of a mobster, so she's … probably a little openminded about sketchy stuff.
▸ PLANS: My personal plan is for some of Veronica's shadier tendencies to come to light even more. Depending on a few things, she may need a new bodyguard, and she won't want to go without one in this world. My ridiculous plan is to get Ronnie in on a thing that involves her being ridiculous and wearing a catsuit because that's how you do stealth, right. She will probably reference The Hunger Games at some point.

So now that she just hassled Scott about stealth and his shades, you have to do the catsuit, so he can repay the favor.

Also I'm realizing she hasn't yet seen his X-Men costume we need to fix this. I desperately need Veronica Lodge's take on superhero fashion.

It does look good, he definitely will notice, BUT IT'S STILL NOT STEALTHY.

I mean, fair. Is it enough to make up for the glasses, though.

I really adore Alucard and Veronica's friendship, so I am always ready for more of them. In addition, I really am digging Alucard's awkward approach to Keith because Alucard is a sad man who's looking for some connections in his life. I haven't thought of anything specific yet, but I think when the plot log comes up just know I am super ready to tag the heck out of you.

I think Keith and Alucard will have a lot more to talk about once Keith updates in June. So, they can continue to awkwardly connect a bit (and I assume you'll have him tossed at Lotor, so it'll be EVEN MORE AWKWARD).

And yes always re: Alucard and Veronica, I still can't believe they had an entire episode of Riverdale with an extended metaphor of her dad being Dracula, it's so wild

So obviously continuing Jason CR with both Keith and Veronica because that is a no brainer. I have nothing specific in mind, but that never seems to stop us 8Db

Korra probably isn't the WORST at stealth. After all, she managed to go 6 months without anyone knowing where she was despite being one of the most recognized public figures on her world.

Keith has limited camouflage, so they can make something of that for sure.

lmao i was almost gonna say yusuke and keith should hang on this mission before i realized he was doing stealth things

so realistically i can offer u a potential bodyguard and someone for keith to yell at at some point

i'm not sure which of the two to throw your way, but i think keith and futaba might be interesting, and she'd definitely be good for stupid arguments and googly eyes at his piloting skills. alternatively, i love roni and it sounds like they share some shady-side-of-the-law mentality about getting stuff done? i'd love to pursue cr with either!

I definitely want CR with Futaba because she's the best, so we can figure out what sticks via threads.

i feel like veronica and todoroki could be an interesting dynamic 8|a i'd love to throw these two together and see what happens!
