Welcome to the second CR Meme of Futurology S2! Have fun and be good to each other.
MISSION: DRAKSTADEN PLOTTING
After Mission: Azeria (the test drive meme), characters will have spent a week on Headquarters before receiving the dossier for Mission: Drakstaden. They will have another week to prepare, after which they will be rifted to another universe.
Mission breakdown:
- The first log will go up on 15 April.
- The mission is tentatively scheduled to last until mid-June, but this may change depending on character action.
- The Bounty Board will be updated once the mission begins.
- There will be a locations page up by 15 April.
- View the dossier for all ICly-known information about what to expect.
- Characters are encouraged to blend in, and will be outfitted with appropriate clothing before their arrival. For characters who cannot pass as human, they will be provided with cloaking devices that will allow all non-Hathaway personnel to view them as natives.
- You can ask questions about the mission on the dossier, or ask game-related questions on the FAQ.

▸ TAGGING HABITS: PST, kind of sporadic? Sometimes I tag from my desk job. I tend to tag more newer threads a lot quicker, though that depends on how many current new threads I have going at the time! I'll slow down over time and backtag older threads. I'm fine with dropping/handwaving the rest of a thread if it goes on too long!

▸ PERSONALITY: Little brother material. He's 10, usually able to handle himself well though. Friendly little tough nerd and usually easy to get along with. He used to be enslaved to a human, so if you try to treat him in any way like a tool (or anyone else), he's very likely to punch you. And if he likes you enough, he's bound to
die for youaggressively fight for you. He's more likely to cry about your wellbeing than his own.▸ DESIRED CR:
- Positive or negative CR is OK! He is likely to keep his distance if things go down a bad end, but we can work things out like forcing our characters to work together.
- A lot of what he does is for his daemon auntie Velvet, who he greatly cares for and would even lose an arm for lol. I want him to grow to care for more people on the same level/MORE PEOPLE TO CARE FOR THAT ISN'T VELVET. Whether it be through building up current CR or new CR.
- Always up for more friendships. But I'm especially a huge sucker for found family.
- More nonhumans to hang out with.
- He's not bringing up certain details about himself to avoid people worrying about him but I'd like to see if anyone's able to figure out what's going on with him/his past/his potential fate at home... he'd rather worry about other people.
- Also I'm obviously not limited to this list :') I'm down for most things!
▸ OFFERED CR:
- Little bro material and a highly reliable, protective friend!!
- Someone to stop you from doing something stupidly reckless and try to calm you down
- He can use magic ("artes") - elemental spells, healing, and a weak barrier. He also has the power of purification which is something he can't control... I won't bring this up much unless you want to plot something with it!
- He looks human but he's actually a spiritual being and considered a "fragment of an Empyrean" ... which is essentially a god? So here's some supernatural CR for you.
- In canon, he has a human vessel to dwell inside of. since she's an appable character, he's using his jewelcomm as his vessel here in futuro!! so uh, if anyone ever wants to carry him in around in a more smaller, portable form... he can actually go inside his jewelry and sit inside of it like a box. I'M NOT SURE HOW THIS WILL EVEN COME UP, BUT IT'S A THING.
▸ PLANS: Laphicet comes from a very low-tech canon that was similar to the previous mission, so he might need a little help with the cybernetics stuff. He will try to make himself useful!!! He's going to use his inventor specialization to create a fake robotic casing on his arm and it's going to look like a shitty homemade one cause he's level 1. Maybe I'll have him get bullied by some upper class kid full of cybernetics????
He also really likes bugs so he's probably going to be picking up all the arthropods. :| I would really like to do some bounties and special ones to level up his specialization! HMU!
▸ ANYTHING ELSE? Laphicet is part of a race of spiritual beings with a bunch of weird shit going on with him like sensing impurities in living things.. I've been gradually playing it down a little (and mainly have him react to more "extreme" emotions) since it's sort of a normal thing for him. I have a (totally optional) permissions post for that here!

Second, Jason has already adopted the small wind-child and I want to continue that process. Please let him kick the ass of whatever bullies might pick on Laphicet. He likes kicking the ass of bullies. They can also be totally lost/overwhelmed together.
Korra would also likely be interested in friendship as well. I thought their start on the TDM was cute.

I'm trying to confirm with mods if fights break out with the wealthy/poor in this world, BUT IF THEY DO. I'm sure Laphicet is capable of punching bullies on his own but feel free to join him. He might be confused at first thought cause he's never had to deal much with other kids... let alone bully children.
I'm up for throwing Laphicet at Korra too again sometime. HOPE YOU'RE NOT TIRED OF ME. I DIDN'T REALIZE THAT WAS YOU ON THE TDM...

they also might be able to work in being brothers as their false identity. i haven't thought too well on it yet tbh.. JUST AN IDEA.
