TL;FIRST IMPRESSIONS It's been a month since the opening of the game, everyone's gotten to know eachother! Between what needs to be done, of course. That means it's time for some first impressions! This is pretty simple (it's just a tl;cr meme in disguise): — Make a comment with your character's name in the title. — Comment to people. Receive some words. — Reply to your own comments with lots of words. — Words, probably.

Kida honestly reminds him of his wife! In a good way. She's blunt, she likes to get things done and she just goes for them and doesn't wait to see if anyone is going to back her up and she doesn't give a damn what everyone else thinks about it. These are all good things in his book; he's not always in the position to be quite so straightforward himself (sometimes you gotta think politics, ugh) but hey, he got his titles revoked for backing up the side he knew would probably lose a war because ~honor~, so he's got a lot of respect for that kind of thinking where you just do what you think is the right thing and don't lose sleep over anyone's approval.

So that's a positive first impression from him, and he'd be interested in getting to know her better, and also he may be wondering if Kida also has tsundere tendencies (like his wife) in which case he's going to laugh quietly to himself forever, probably.
