tl;first impressions
![]() |
It's been a month since the opening of the game, everyone's gotten to know eachother! Between what needs to be done, of course. That means it's time for some first impressions! This is pretty simple (it's just a tl;cr meme in disguise): |

Loki

I'm sorry he's just a dickweed.

We should figure out how to flip that CR though.

Yeah, we'll see how things turn out. First impressions don't always make the CR.

He also rather likes him. People who challenge him amiably toward certain changes are always a little endearing to him. Phoenix is also very driven and pretty passionate, which are all good traits in his humble opinion. Loki always gets a little puffy about other people's expectations (or what other people want him to be according to who he was, or according to myth), but in some ways he's used to the whole "Loki in myth" thing, and he knows enough of what happened/didn't happen to generally be able to roll his eyes in any direction without taking it as a stab to the gut.
Anyway, will work with. Good job. Let's go!!!!!

To be real Kida is pretty neat. Loki really admires her drive and her passion. He's a creature of chaos, people following their whims and making occasionally bad choices is really what he's all about. (Sometimes I think it's funny that Loki looks like he knows what he's doing in a very Put Together way, but he's really just a huge wreck who's following his own whims/desires in a way where he seems like he's a step ahead.) She knows a little bit about him from myth, but not enough to be damning to the reputation that he's trying to reclaim. There's a little bit of influence pushing from both sides in that way.
He's really content to run with her into traffic, kind of like an enabling, bad news friend that your mother told you to stay away from.
There's a bit of Kida that also keeps him in check, and calls him out when he's being a conniving good-for-nothing. He likes the challenge as well as the way that she creates boundaries without being overbearing in the way that inhibits his own sense of identity.
When he starts really liking people he's probably going to start liking her and question himself because what are friends. why are friends. what do they do. WHY DOES HE CARE FOR PEOPLE

"knows a little bit about him from
mythwhat Phoenix Wright told her" ftfyalso re:friendship-- it's basically inevitable that no matter how fucking old you get you will never get away from shitty emotional hang-ups. she gets u bro
you said something about a fedora
He's had a lifetime of disliking people and being absurdly selfish, and while it kind of still lingers around (the selfish part, esp), reaching out and caring about people is something he does very deeply and has loads of contrary feelings about so it comes off as something he's SO BAD AT IT'S SO FUNNY.
brofist.
tipping intensifies???
she can admire someone who does their own thing tbh
minus the whole lying cheating scoundrel bit

It's also fun to poke him. He's very reactionary, and Loki likes getting reactions, so watching him fuss/play it cool over something that he says is really just pure gold.
He's curious about where Dean's had fate forced upon him, but he'll end up asking ... later ... when it's less like he's skeevy, probs.

There's also this mysterious curtness about Ahad that's very curious. As in, he probably doesn't want to scream 'bother me,' but he absolutely screams 'bother me.' Things Ahad doesn't want anyone asking him about that Loki wants to ask about, even though they sort of usually descend into terrible.
He sort of understands, too? Not to the extent that Ahad was stripped, but he knows what it's like to have little choice and become damaged because of it, even it was by his own hand. The whole "gods as slaves" thing rubs him the wrong way. FREEDOM IS SOMETHING HE DOESN'T TREAD LIGHTLY UPON.

She can also possibly be manipulated into subverting some systems, he's not ruling that out.
If he gets to know her he'll get unintentionally fussy if he learns that she's been used!! I UNDERSTAND THIS IS WEIRD BECAUSE HE MANIPULATES PEOPLE BUT HE'S VERY
WEIRD
