CR MEME #6.

Hi, guys! The Zeta-12 mission will be going live on July 1st, so in preparation, here's the sixth CR Meme: Zeta-12 Edition. It's updated to be specific to the mission, so please remember to fill out the new form instead of the last one!

TAGGING HABITS: Timezone can go here if you want. Boomeranger, backtagger? Prose/brackets preference? etc.

CHARACTER INFO.

CANON:
PERSONALITY: Just a short blurb, please!
WANTED CR:
OPEN POSTS: Link any recent posts or top-levels here!
RECAP: What has your character been up to recently?
PLANS:
MISSION SPECIFIC.
SURVIVAL SKILLS: Is your character good at survival? Are they willing to help others with it? Alternately, just how likely is it that they're going to die out here? Will they need to travel in a group?
PARENTING SKILLS: How scarred for life is this squidge going to be? If the answer is "not at all", will your character be willing to help others out?
SQUIDGE: Tell us all about your little miracle. Squidges come in various colors and patterns, and can easily be taught their name. Go wild! Remember, squidges often imitate their caretakers, but that doesn't mean they don't have a personality of their own. Squidges are prone to forming strong bonds with other squidges, and although it's more rare, have rivalries. This is an easy way to kickstart CR!
ANYTHING ELSE?
Here's the mission briefing to help with your plotting!

CHARACTER INFO.
NAME: Giovanni Rammsteiner
CANON: DOGS: Bullets & Carnage
PERSONALITY: Um...unstable. He presents himself as kind of smooth, slick, and sardonic with a definite manic side. Dryly humorous. He can be incredibly vicious and violent and thinks nothing of killing and/or maiming should it come down to it, but he's also hugely dissociated from everything but his past and as such can - most of the time - be massively indifferent to everything around him. He's actually fairly unlikely to cause someone serious harm unless he's instructed to as part of a mission or they really piss him off OR they're in the mood for some friendly violence haha.
On a deeper level, he has extremely low poor esteem, doesn't consider himself a person so much as a weapon or a 'dog', is frightened of change and being alone and attempting self-sufficiency. He's internally pretty lonely and morose and sad :(
WANTED CR:Anything and everything! I love love LOVE negative CR so please don't be afraid to have your character actively dislike him or whatever, I'm down with that and it makes perfect sense. Snarky frenemies are great, fellow unsavory types, and anyone who likes....extreme sparring shall we say....are welcome!
I'd also love for him to develop some deeper, 'friendly' connections with other characters too, even though he takes a long time to really warm up to anyone and can be quite offputting. If you have a character who can get past the disconcerting exterior please bring them on!
OPEN POSTS: Nothing current
RECAP: He's pretty new! He helped defeat Ryba, and was traumatised by the Observatory, but really not much has happened with him so far.
PLANS: None yet, let's make some!
MISSION SPECIFIC.
SURVIVAL SKILLS: He has autonomic regeneration so he's pretty impervious to...everything, almost. He also doesn't really need to eat according to canon so that makes things a little easier for both him and his squidge. Also very, very handy in a fight!
Unfortunately, he's still unaccustomed to the outside world and everything unsettles him deeply which might be a slight problem. PLUS he's never really had to fend entirely for himself before.
PARENTING SKILLS: None. None whatsoever. He shouldn't be trusted with a cactus, never mind something that actually needs real care. He might kill it if it annoys him too much or leave it somewhere accidentally (or even on purpose) or just forget about it entirely. Will probably need constant prodding and watching to make sure he doesn't do something he shouldn't >.>
SQUIDGE: probably traumatised :(
ANYTHING ELSE? He feels like this about the whole thing:
