PERSONALITY: Heatless. Literally. He can be pretty cold and doesn't necessarily interact with other humans well. He responds most to anyone with an air of innocence, and he does not like to be told what to do. still, more or less a decent guy. He also tells terrible jokes, I'm sorry about them.
DESIRED CR: More people to drag his past out of him. So far he has just told a small child. Maybe he should include someone that is a little older. IDK maybe. More people to push him toward trying to get his heart back, definitely. Animal lovers. People who also have troubled history.
OFFERED CR:
— he can teach your characters all sorts of things, from fishing to hunting to swimming to hand to hand. he's great at survival and he will share what he knows. could help teach archery as well!
— Graham recently got the ability to talk to animals. I'd love to do more with that. Permissions are here.
— he can easily become negative cr if you play a character that doesn't care about the safety of others. THAT SAID, you'd have to work hard to get him to be actually antagonistic, he rarely has interest in fighting.
— other people hesitant against ALISTAIR. I think it'd be an interesting angle to play and Graham does not trust them, at all.

RECAP: Graham is currently much weaker than usual thanks to the lack of magic. He hates ALISTAIR and is very open about his distrust. He has a wolf friend and can talk to animals. He gave everyone in the game sunglasses not too long ago, so thank him for being so goddamn stylish.
PLANS: He's still pretty sick, so nothing enormous. Mostly he's helping Sieglinde get the ship ready to shove off and trying to maintain shelter. He's staying out of Koltira's post because it reminds him of the curse hitting :( otherwise I am game to start some new things if people want! def just hmu and we can plot something out c:

CANON: Shadowhunters
PERSONALITY: Magnus is a complicated man who hides much himself under a persona who is outgoing, extremely comfortable with who he is, and who will drape himself over a gold throne purely for the aesthetic. He's spent centuries cultivating a certain reputation -- extravagant, hedonistic, cunning -- and that's what all most people know. Some find him on the eccentric side and he may regale you with a ridiculous story about his past. Though he's pretty powerful, for the most part you wouldn't know it; it's not something he cares to demonstrate unless he has to. He'll usually help anyone for a price -- or for free if he likes you. Get to know him enough and his mask will start to slip.

DESIRED CR:
- friends! especially mages or other magical type people. He's responsible for protecting them in a way in canon and will likely carry this feeling over here

- anyone who typically hunts the supernatural would also be interesting; he has a complicated relationship with these hunters in his canon (including dating one of them)

- people he can have fun times with aka lots of drinking or random adventuring

OFFERED CR:
- Magnus offers magical assistance -- healing, conjuring small things, wards and other spells. Because of the circumstances it'll probably be free but it depends on his mood

- Magnus also has strong (personal) morals and will go out of his way to protect anyone he thinks is being unfairly treated

- If your character is the Outwardly Snark with a Heart of Gold/Inner Turmoil type, Magnus is very good at perceiving people's inner golden heart and will be more likely than others to offer empathy/friendship

RECAP: He's currently without magic which is really awful for him. He's met a few people including Loki and Ramir, and accidentally turned Mabel into a dog girl (he fixed it ok).
PLANS: He doesn't know his boyfriend is here yet! And I'd like him to investigate the sacrificial part of the plot since he's got experiences with these things. I'd love to have someone join him!

Corrupt corporate stooge turned assistant vice janitor turned embezzler turned meat buddy for a psychopathic AI turned amateur treasure hunter. Long story short, Rhys is the type of person who's always been happy to step on others on his way to the top of the corporate ladder. He's a privileged corporate douchebag who finds himself stuck on a shithole planet after stealing ten million dollars from his company for the sole purpose of fucking his rival over. Despite being a brand new outlaw, he's actually pretty incompetent and awkward. Also, he has the AI consciousness of his dead boss in his head, so that's a thing.

DESIRED CR:

➤ On the flip side, positive CR! People he might actually get along with. Generally, most of his relationships tend to have rocky starts, but I swear he's not completely awful.

➤ Fellow nerds, but generally, anyone who's from a universe that has technology! You fantasy types are killing him.

RECAP:

So far in Nalawi, he's gotten into a skirmish with children, fought with a shopkeeper, and generally not gotten along with the deer people at all. The only one he talks to anymore is OL' INKEEPER JONES or whatever his name is. Rhys advocated very strongly for the bomb idea and almost died a few times after it went off, nbd. He got marooned after getting caught up in the storm, which also water-damaged his robo-arm. :ccc He's doing everything one-armed right now.

PLANS:

At this point, he doesn't really give a fuck about the Nalawi, they're all dicks tbh. STILL, he's very much in favor of whatever gets them off deer-Hawaii the quickest. For the most part, though, he's just trying not to get beaten with soap in a sock. Also, he's hoarding that dank seaweed from Gilligan's island just in case he ever needs to barter with a junkie.

NAME: Lightning
CANON: Final Fantasy XIII
PERSONALITY: lightning is a self-assured person. she's highly independent and has difficulty relying on others, which stems all the way back to being orphaned at a young age and tasked with supporting herself and her younger sister. she is a military trained soldier, and thus can be strict and overly disciplined. she can come across as cold upon first meeting her, but lightning cares deeply for certain people and ideals — the rest can just be damned, in her opinion. she's passionate and stubborn and unafraid to punch someone when they are in her way, and is definitely what you'd call a 'woman of action'. from her canon point, she's opened up a bit more and is a lot more amenable to befriending others, though it definitely will require an amount of effort — this means you either have to be really useful or really persistent to catch her lasting attention.
DESIRED CR: lightning is still new, so anything is good! she needs some people that will center her, and that usually means someone she can big sister at — so if you have a younger character that wants to be stronger, she can definitely help them in that department. i'd also love for her to have some vitriolic friends! people she doesn't necessarily dislike, but she has a rocky, banter filled relationship with. aaand just some general friends.. those are always good too. she's a good friend even if she's rude i promise
OFFERED CR: i guess i sort of touched on this in the section for desired cr, but she absolutely will help younger characters learn self-defense. this will absolutely be of the tough love variety. if you think your character totally deserves to be punched, she's here for that too.
OPEN POSTS: for the marooned— as there's only one open prompt here, let me know if you want me to write up a closed one, because i absolutely will!
RECAP: honestly, she doesn't care a whole lot about what's going on with the nalawi — she wants to figure everything out if just to get everything here over with, but this is partially because she's so new and is still dealing with being separated from her companions and sister. she's marooned, and investigating intermittently between general survivor stuff.
PLANS: god. anything. i'm still trying to integrate her into the game, so i really am up for anything! sorry that's unhelpful. addendum: lightning has already killed one pseudo-god in canon and she'd totally do it again because fuck people telling her what to do tbh.

CONTACT: dovah; please ask before adding! My timeline is very NSFW and can get a little crazy.
TAGGING HABITS: I'm usually pretty quick about hitting stuff up, so you can expect same day tagbacks most of the time (unless I'm particularly busy or otherwise incapacitated). I favor present tense [action brackets] for my tags, and I assume a very "go with the flow" style philosophy for plotting. Most of my best CR has come about without much planning, so I value flexibility in my play.
INTERESTS: Not much to speak of, really. I like writing, I like tech, I like... dragons. That's about it.

CHARACTER INFO.
NAME: Gilgamesh

CANON: Fate/, from just before the end of Fate/Zero

PERSONALITY: Let's get this out of the way: Gilgamesh is an asshole. A really big, really obnoxious, really insufferable asshole. You'll always know he's around because he'll be yelling at the top of his lungs and making a general nuisance of himself. Beyond being loud, he abides a very strict system of justice and will not tolerate anyone going against his authority. He's not entirely a bad guy and shows glimmers of honor here and there, but overall he's a tyrant, the King of Heroes, and he won't let you forget it. Thankfully, he's softened up sufficiently in game that approaching him is no longer fatal.

DESIRED CR: At this point, I'll take anything! As mentioned, Gilgamesh settled down a lot so he's capable of holding a civil conversation with most people. Positive CR is by no means impossible because of it, but I wouldn't mind starting to stack up some negative CR again, too. Some of you may have noticed he tends to be a little sexist and a little questionable in general, so that could and should be called out! Also, selfishly: more women to step on him and boss him around. He'll deny it to his grave, but he loves it.

Gilgamesh could use some friends, frankly (read: people who befriend him and he begrudgingly accepts). It's always going to be a one-sided deal because Gilgamesh is a stickler about that whole "I have need of only one" thing, but he kind of needs people looking out for his dumb kingly ass. Above all else, I am always looking for people brave enough to challenge Gilgamesh and get him thinking a slightly different way, by means of balance.

OFFERED CR: This is all pretty much copypasta from previous CR memes, forgive my laziness.

Negative CR is easy enough to provide, as Gilgamesh can be volatile. However he's been known to take an interest in folks that ping him so if you manage to do so you just might wind up with him hovering around you instead. He's super reactive, so what he "offers" really depends on the character! He can be a sass machine, a drinking buddy, a shockingly astute philosopher... but mostly he's just annoying. I'm sorry. As a King (humanity's first!), he's naturally very politically-minded and will gladly talk shop on his views of formal rule.

Gilgamesh is a pretty mean (read: incredible) storyteller so he can be a good fit for curious types and will gladly recite his Epic to you all day everyday if prodded. He's fond of children and generally tones a lot of his more suspect behavior down around them. He also has a hella sweet pet lion you can meet if your character is into animals, and he's a huge animal lover himself.

If your character is interested in magic, be it the Fate/ brand of it or something else, Gilgamesh has plenty to say on the topic. He will gladly go into Master and Servant mechanics if the subject comes up. And while they're bound to be disappointed any characters attracted to charismatic figures or knights in shining armor are sure to find Gilgamesh interesting; that A+ Charisma ain't no joke, man.

Also if you're really really interested in a darker road for your character Gilgamesh excels at corrupting others in a variety of ways. It's just what he does by nature. If your character needs a reality check he can certainly give a harsh one. He says what he means, means what he says, and has no issue delivering verbal smackdowns when required.

RECAP: Gilgamesh was part of the crew that went Under the Sea to speak with Ryba. He's also part of the crew most severely affected by the power dampening, as he's literally made of magic, so he's been struggling to uh... survive, basically. After a disagreement with Pearl, he's distancing himself from his Master a bit so he doesn't risk hurting her. Currently he's beginning to have a bit of an existential crisis as more of the pieces regarding his future in the Unlimited Blade Works timeline come together, which will culminate in a trip to said timeline. Eventually. Honestly not in the best of shape right now, but he's making do because he's Gilgamesh and Gilgamesh don't stop for nothin'.

PLANS: Gilgamesh is part of the marooned crew and will be assisting Sieglinde in repairing the abandoned ship. Additionally, it's quite likely he'll be joining Koltira for a bit of godslaying if it ever comes to that, because he is Not a Fan of gods in general (actually doesn't even care about the genocide, just wants an excuse to beat divine shit up). Other than that, he'll be helping out castmates and CR as he's able.

PERSONALITY: Yukimura is very passionate, determined and driven, if the intense speeches and LOUD YELLING NOISES hadn't given him away already. He's just really sincere and passionate about the things he does, and tries to do everything he has to do to the best of his ability. While he does come across as kinda... slow sometimes, he really not an unintelligent person (I promise). He's just... very sincere and very one-track minded. Once he sets his sights on a goal, he works towards it and will smash through any obstacles head on if he has to rather than find an alternative method that may be easier. He has a very black and white view on things - if someone's in danger, he'll want to help them, etc, etc, but he's also able to mull over more serious topics, like coming to terms with what it means to take a person's life in battle, and his own short comings. But he does sometimes lack the self-confidence and awareness to look over these issues and short comings and find a solution for them.

He's kinda like a big, friendly puppy dog. Puppy tiger dog. The kind that really loves people who are nice to him but will chase assholes down the street while barking like a madman.

DESIRED CR: Frrrriiieeeeennddddssss. Also people to fight with, which is kinda the same thing in his language. Fighting with him is usually the best way to forge a strong connection with him. He's more social than the kind of characters I'm used to rping, so I really want to get him out and about and making friends, enemies and everything really.
OFFERED CR: Friendly tiger who will happily fight things for you. Or fight you. And do his damn best to help your character out if they need a hand. He's genuinely a nice guy all around, but his loud nature also allows for negative cr in the form of him yelling people's eardrums off and people being pissed off about it...

PLANS: WELL THANKS TO RHYS, Yukimura is now aware of the word "porn", but not what it means and he's a little confused and curious what it is. Or he will be, moreso once he's back from Gilligan's Island. So there's that. These are my RP choices, and I will live with them.

Aside from that, he's currently marooned and carting around pickled vegetables because look ma he found them all by himself. Cooking shenanigans and I REALLY WANT HIM TO FIGHT ONE OF THE ARMOURED BEASTS ON THE ISLAND because of course he would. He can bring back the shell as a trophy and proof of his glorious victory. He's also looking to help rebuild the ship Sieglinde found, even if he can't do much but be part of the brute strength team...

DESIRED CR: She always needs more people to hit on, tbh. She's also going to start looking into actually training here at some point... on her list of people to bother about that is Achilles and Koltira, but I'm super down for her learning from anyone else as well!
OFFERED CR: She will happily pick on, be rude to, mock, and look out for anyone who presents themselves for it. :] She's slowly growing a sense of 'ALASTAIR recruits are my community' and as such Cares A Lot about all of them/would protect them, but that doesn't mean she's gonna be nice about it.

RECAP: She's on the Nalawi island side, and has been trying not to pout about not having her powers and be useful despite that; she still knows HOW to function as a normal human, she's just grumpy that she has to. So she's mostly been trying to stick close to people she knows are strong/competent, because the survival instinct runs strong in this one. In fact she'll be doing just that when she gets kidnapped by tiny deer people, thanks so much Hellboy.
PLANS: The aforementioned 'learning to train' thing will be foremost, but beyond that she's getting REAL SICK OF THIS WORLD and will be wanting to wrap this shit up so they can get back to Oska already >:| Which probably means actually participating and being useful toward their overall goal IF SHE MUST, SIGH.

He's been trying his best on this Nalawi mission but keeps fucking up spectacularly after being marginally useful. He got knocked out upon arrival, he gave Mabel the terrible idea to climb through lava tubes, he was totally useless when his powers started going on the fritz, and he's lost his precious sketchbook, and now he's marooned on a nasty seafloor island being told he has to cauterize gushing wounds. Oh yeah, and he got an eye popped out by a fire imp. That was not a good day.
PLANS:
I want him to actually do a few things and succeed at them towards the end of this mission. Rescue someone, help someone out, solve a puzzle: basically now that I've broken him down I want to build him back up a little bit and let him come out of Nalawi not feeling like a total failure. He's lying low and playing nice, but in general he'll be hard to get to know and slow to trust so I'm still always looking for people who are willing to be persistent/patient with him. Part of Ahad doesn't want to give a damn about people, and he works very hard at keeping up that facade. Unfortunately for Ahad, he's also the god of love in his universe. What that means is that not caring keeps him weak and could also become harmful to him. He needs intimacy to survive and thrive, but is so bitter about it. Think of him as prickly on the surface, but secretly giving a damn underneath.
DESIRED CR: Anyone who's willing to push him out of his apathetic exterior and get something real from him. Or just push him in general.
OFFERED CR: Ahad's good at being difficult, if anyone wants someone to challenge their point of view. He could fit the bill for someone who wants negative cr, as long as it's fine if it's one-sided (Ahad doesn't care enough). RECAP: Technically Alec does not believe his runes (angelic letters that he draws on himself to get Cool Powers) are magic because magic is only something demons and demons incorporated are capable of, so he's still trying to ignore completely that they aren't working as well even though they are definitely magic. Alec is big into investigating so he'll be putting on a cool hat and a monocle to investigate things and try to get an idea of what the hell is going on because, frankly, he thinks most of ALASTAIR is really stupid so far. He's also kind of dating Magnus Bane but maybe not??? I don't know they kissed once at Alec's wedding and still haven't gone on a date and he's really awkward about this whole being out-of-the-closet thing.

RECAP: Koltira is marooned, and while he was initially chill about the situation, he stumbled upon a recording of (presumably) Nalanni wiping out the Dakal civilization. As someone who A: hates gods and B: was in fact a victim of genocide, he's mad as hell and he's not going to take it anymore.
PLANS: TEAM GODKILLER OR GET OUT!!! Koltira's mindset is less 'with me or against me' and more 'with me or fuck off'; he's not going to hurt anyone who opposes him. But he does plan to attack Nalanni if/when they find her; he has murderous designs on Ryba, too. These designs will only sharpen after he learns of all the sacrificial cult nonsense--something he might've predicted, given what he already knew and did not like about our tentacled sea friend.

I've been watching Achilles from afar and really just want Dany to give him shit (or just marvel at how ridiculous he is). Can I do that? She's like a fake medieval queen, so she definitely doesn't have modern woman sensibilities (what are women's rights? Just take your dragons and burn the people who offend you), but she does have a way of trolling men. She'd be able to see he's harmless compared to what she usually deals with, though.

PERSONALITY:
If you wanted to ever meet a dashing, heroic man who charms the socks off of everyone and is always ready to help, then....uh, well, Keats is not your guy. He's a grumpy, sarcastic Irish reporter for a third-rate occult magazine who will share insulting quips or gripe about whatever situation he finds himself in. To add onto that, he's a raging skeptic, and will always lean on logic and reason before even beginning to acknowledge that things like gods and magic exists, even if he's presented physical evidence of it.
However, the great irony in his skepticism is that Keats has magical powers himself, and denies the existence of magic because he wants to avoid the truth that he, in reality, isn't even human. He's a creature called a Halflife, a sort of weird mix between an imaginary friend and a ghost, in that he's a being created by a human being to live in a magical variant of the afterlife. He hates acknowledging this fact, though, and so will continue to act like the snippy and nosy reporter he desperately wants to be.

DESIRED CR:

- fellow magical people (it would be A+ if they were sensible and called Keats out on being a HUGE HYPOCRITE)

He's a reporter and is naturally curious about anything and anyone, so if you need a person to infodump on, he's here for that. As said before, he's also a really nice guy under all that sarcasm, and will help and protect people if he can. He's also a GIANT NERD and a dork who tries to be much cooler than he really is, so if you need a nerd buddy, he'll be a nerd buddy. ALSO MAGIC, HE'S GOT THAT in the form of...monstrous souls of the dead that are inside his body. It's weird.

Anyways, he's a grumpy ghost nerd with a heart of gold, pretty much.
