PERSONALITY: peter is a hero type x9000. he's one of those straight laced morality types, despite his past of attempted revenge, girlfriend murders, boyfriend beatings, and lowkey eating people in woodhurst. he has a lot of guilt over not doing enough Good w his powers, especially after the eating people thing. he's an overall good kid, though, with a really big heart even if he shows it awkwardly sometimes. also perhaps a little nerdy
DESIRED CR:
— super cr. After woodhurst peters abilities are out in the open and he has to be more up front about what he can do. anyone he can connect with over Great Responsibility and having ridiculous abilities would be great for him.
— mentor/parental types. As Vice President of the sad orphan club, Peter is an official sad orphan and could use some mentoring or some parenting or both (don't tell aunt may)!! I would love familial cr for him, even sibling types!
— friend cr. peter has really moved forward a lot in making friends and I wanna keep that momentum going! He's the sort that won't talk about how he feels easily, but he will never talk to people he doesn't trust pretty completely, and that isn't always easy to manage.

— tech/science tutor. he already has a few people on the line for this but he will take more. peter is from a modern world and beyond that he's a marvel stu and handwavey great at this stuff. he'd happily help members of the team that want to learn more about tech they haven't been exposed to. Perhaps less enticing, he also knows a lot about science and could instruct on that front too!
super save. he's getting much better at being a team player so he's available to team up with characters now that he isn't hiding what he's capable of. he is always available for super saves too. he will even suit up again on the mission!
— gross shounen ideals. Peter is an overwhelmingly Good type. he will snark and lecture and even try to stop characters who are getting into trouble and stealing things that don't need to be stolen. this can be negative cr if desired or something to connect over!

NAME: Kisuke Urahara

PERSONALITY: A humble shopkeeper who is in no way shady and a kind and gentle soul-ahahaha I'm sorry. No one believes that anymore.

Urahara is at best, a generally kind-hearted genius who wants the best for the world at whole, and at worst is a pragmatic chessmaster who doesn't shy away from sacrifices to get the best possible scenario, even though he may not like it. He puts those hard choices on his own shoulders and bears the guilt of what he's had to manipulate people into doing. He never makes people go against their nature, but he does push them into some pretty awful circumstances and he knows it.

He's an insufferable know-it-all who has to plan for every possible scenario, and while he normally keeps his plans and theories to himself, the team is too big for that to work, so yes, he does tend to openly throw theories out to see what comes of people reacting to them. It's funny.

He's not a nice person, even if he pretends to be a doofus. He can be cold and calculated when he wants to be, and he hides most of that behind this friendly, cheerful veneer. He would rather people didn't know he has a pretty aggressive dark side.

Also he's a badass genius ninja swordsman with magical powers. And his sword has a spirit he can talk to. She's mean.

DESIRED CR: People to mentor. People who can maybe get him to trust and open up some, which is so hard. It's just... so hard. Science nerds. All the things. HE'S ALSO STARTING TO GENERATE SOME NEGATIVE CR, WHICH I AM ALL ABOUT. I HAVE A THIRST. I do realize that he is utterly insufferable and negative CR with him is like arguing with a brick wall that doesn't take you seriously, but god just punch him. I will pay you to punch him.

RECAP: While trying to work through the personal loss he felt Perdition's Rest was, Urahara threw himself utterly into his work to find a cure, finding the entire thing to be a little too close to the Hollowfication incident for his liking. While working on the cure and vaccine, he became infected, and continued to work through it up until a breakthrough was found.

Despite relaxing in Terra Felis and getting back to normal, the arrival of Zymandis in Oska brought out a lot of latent disdain for the organization and he channeled all of that into getting rid of the invading forces.
PLANS: Urahara will be providing tech support and little inventions to aid in the heist parts of this mission as well as some insight into creating the new diamond, but for the most part he is gonna FUCKING RELAX, and not do a damn thing he doesn't want to do.

• i adore neg cr because it's actually really hard to get it with her, so if we can find a way to work through this i'd love it! i also love different morals, clashing opinions, etc.

RECAP: JFC I've been here over a year so let me make this brief. He got infected with the zombie virus in Woodhurst and spent most of the time lying around in bed feeling sorry for himself and/or passive-aggressively bitching at everyone, so he has a New Lease On Life now. Also, he got a space D&D set like forever ago and eventually he's gonna host a game when I figure out how the fuck to OOCly do that.
PLANS: ??? He will definitely be in a non-actiony role for this mission but otherwise I got nothin'. I'm the most impulsive, spontaneous RPer, sorry!!! I never have plans.

PERSONALITY: Angry fish with a heart of gold. Undyne is rowdy, crass, and aggressive, but despite this, she's about as smooth as a shark. Which is to say, it depends on which direction you rub her. For the most part, she's fairly friendly and outgoing-- even if her idea of friendship entails wrestling, headlocks, and teasing. She doesn't want to really fight with most people, but she makes it harder on herself by being both abrasive and sometimes completely unaware of other people's feelings. She tries, she's just not very attuned to the people around her. Ultimately though, she is a people pleaser, and wants to make sure everyone's dreams come true-- she just draws a hard line when the dreams and goals of others infringe on her (slowly shifting) moral code.

OFFERED CR:
- Big Fishter. Undyne gravitates towards taking care of those who either can't stand up for themselves, or are too nice for their own good, no names mentioned or anything like that.

- Training partner/students. Skilled in combat, Undyne was Captain of the Royal Guard back home and is more than happy to put others through the ringer. Her primary weapon is the spear, and she's going to be looking to incorporate shields into her style soon too.

- Dogberry and other dog related activities. Undyne has a dog named Dogberry! He's a good dog. He's trained as a Search & Rescue dog but also makes a good therapy dog in a pinch.

RECAP: Still frustrated over Woodhurst and trying to navigate the murkey waters of morality, particularly in regards to executing Percy. The mission report hasn't done much to assuage her concerns that there could have been another way that didn't involve murder-- that would have been less violent, but also given more justice to the people of Woodhurst.

PLANS: tbh Undyne is the last person you want on this mission, she's the opposite of subtle, and also she will be missing Dogberry, who she will unwillingly leave behind in Oska. :( :( :(

NAME: Koltira Deathweaver
CANON: Warcraft
PERSONALITY: Tall, dark, and elvish. Koltira's not bad, but he is drawn that way. Though he's a noble soul with a moral mind, he suffers from a curse that drives him to inflict pain & suffering on other creatures (often sated by blood). If he denies this hunger for too long, his own constant pain will become excruciating, and he will be driven into a frenzied, maddened state.

AS A RESULT he's constantly holding himself back, constantly in pain, and pretty cranky for it all, on the whole. He's forthright, direct, and does not hide anything about himself, what he is, or his intentions--traits that, when combined with his often ruthless nature, tend to result in clashes with the team. But the remnants of the jovial, sharp-witted man he once was in life are still there--for those few people willing to get to them.
DESIRED CR:
- People to make stuff for! Koltira got the forge in Oska, and he likes having work--stuff to distract his hungry mind and his devil's hands. He can make any number of weapons, as well as chainmail + plate armor. He is capable of learning beyond that, given time to study / acquire materials.

- People for fITE. Koltira's hunger is only sated through suffering, and more specifically through spilled blood. Unless anyone's willing to outright let him bite and drain, he'd be grateful for people to scrap with.

- Trainees. He's already trying to militarize this team as much as possible. If you wanna learn melee weapons, he's ya man. Granted, he is dead and often forgets that living people need breaks to eat and so on ...

- Friends, enemies, frenemies ... Koltira's arc in games is determined by whether he's integrated into or alienated by the group. He's edging towards alienation at present, a state relieved by understanding. However, I am down to clown with all kinds of CR, and I embrace the negative (kinda have to, with this fella). So, if you wanna help or hate, it's all good.

- also it's nice when ppl style/brush his hair and put flowers in it

- A TANK ... that's his job in the actual game, and he's very good at it. He'll soak up damage and give it back tenfold, besides. Very good meatshield.


- Loyal af - Koltira was so loyal to his one canon friend that he betrayed the Banshee Queen just so they wouldn't have to IMMEDIATELY fight each other. Once he's on your side, he'll never leave it (even if he'll always want to chew on ur throat a little bit)

- Magic and swords and elf stuff - though he isn't a mage, he is a blood elf, and thus has an inherent affinity / understanding of magic of all kinds (he also ... eats it). He is happy to play mournful strings for u while discussing his glittering elf homeland also
OPEN POSTS: on the oska battle! he will probably also have a network post before we ship out to the next mission, asking for work
RECAP: Woodhurst was rough b/c the Bristol virus, in the end stage, looked a lot like his frenzy! So he related to that and it was awful. Then the bad got worse, because he feels guilty over the escaped Taraxan agents--considering he sent plenty of them back for examination/curing. So he's confused about whether mercy is ever the right choice, wracked with shame, and also it's been over six months since he last really hurt anybody ... so he's not in a great place.
PLANS: Work as much as he can! Try not to flip out and kill everybody!!

CANON: How to Get Away With Murder
PERSONALITY: seemingly dim-witted and haughty at first glance, Asher's overuse of outdated slang and animated body language may be off-putting or just downright confusing to some. despite these seemingly garbage qualities, he is sensitive at heart and incredibly loyal to the people he has come to call friends. ashamed of mistakes he's made in the past and terrified that he will be an awful person forever, he is determined to follow his heart and make the right choices from now on, even if they are not always easy.
DESIRED CR: He has very recently lost some close CR! If we currently have positive/friendly CR going that would be great, but I always welcome negative and new connections. I am pretty slow so I often miss chances to tag toplevels before they get too crazy, so pre-arranging threads and inboxing is what's best if I can't catch you.
OFFERED CR: Asher is concerned about the mental health of the team at large and will probably harass your character to take better care of themselves if you see him slacking. If you want a fashionable bud to shop with or someone friendly and energetic, Asher's your guy! Tho he's problematic garbage as well rip.
OPEN POSTS: um....
RECAP: A large portion of his time in Woodhurst was spent cleaning up emotional messes and looking after the people he could. He helped organize Patroclus' funeral and even helped carry the body. Seeing an infected child cry and apologize for attacking him was hard, and having his fears about mortality sealed when a teammate died was even harder. He's glad it's over, despite being so excited for it at first.
PLANS: Asher will most likely try his hand at infiltration, as he's improved his weaseling skills over the past 9 months and is excited to see what he can pull off next. PLUS... HE FEELS LIKE A SPY??? HOW COOL IS THIS MISSION

But in all seriousness, schmoozing around and rubbing elbows with the upper echelons? Totally a piece of cake and something he's used to doing, hell, it's how he's gotten every opportunity that's been tossed his way back home (or at least, the one's that his Dad didn't play hard to get for).

RECAP: Maya's been taking it easy on cat planet but did participate in the battle (see above)! and will be aiding in the aftermath as well. Woodhurst did a number on her but in True Maya Fashion (tm), she's trying to take her mind off of it by cheering up the people around her.
PLANS: [muffled Persona 5 music in the background] DIAMOND HEIST, DIAMOND HEIST, DIAMOND HEIST. You can bet your ass she'll be involved (most likely in a lookout + distraction + maybe replication of the diamond) matter. Aside from that, probably some lighthearted stuff!! Baseball!! Spreading the joy and the love of Steel Samurai to all!

ANYTHING ELSE? FORGOING THE USUAL DUMB SHITPOST to ask: I saw that there was excitement about a baseball game and a Steel Samurai movie night, so I was thinking of making an open log for those two! RECAP: Given most recent missions, Haise has felt discouraged by his lack of ability to protect people who shouldn't have to become casualties. It feels more like frantic damage-control than really saving people, but he'll keep right on trying to help others. Their time in Woodhurst and beyond has seen continued concern, because their squad is so divided. It's something that he wants to help, and yet in a team of their numbers, he acknowledges it's too big for any one person to resolve. On a personal level, he has a handful of people who know what he is, and he's settling into the reality that people can be fairly understanding.
PLANS: Ideally, Haise'll run Support on this mission. He's a tank with heals, super strength, and the heightened senses of a predator. His alternatives are Lookout and Distraction, so he's more focused on aiding others here.

RECAP: With Woodhurst closing up some developments from Perdition's Rest, lo and behold, after like 9 months in game: KUNG JIN HAS FINALLY CHILLED THE FUCK OUT. He helped where he could as best as he could, was in the immediate vicinity of witnessing his first Audentes (mk announcer voice) fatality, figured out how best to support his many freaking out friends... it sure was a mission, in the end, and he came out of it managing his high self-expectations way better while also, uh, wholeheartedly embracing his new aniki-friend role. He spent a month-ish on a hiatus mission, so he's raring to jump back into Audentes things with the typical Jin rudeness... not gone, but dulled, let's say. you are all annoying but he is a team player goddammit

RECAP: After the mentally exhausting race to the Bristol virus cure and the death of Patroclus, Sieglinde mostly kept to herself in Terra Felis, sequestered in the library or her room. A bit of a breakthrough in her personal Ultimate Magic project has led her to put her face back in the books since Oska's reclamation, and there's been suspicious smoke and sounds coming out of her room ever since. Sorry, she's not helping rebuild at all...

PLANS: In the next mission Sieglinde will likely spend most of the pre-heist time working on fabricating fake diamonds. At the moment she isn't really in a good place, but she's decent at faking it so it isn't really an issue when it comes to CR. It just means that she hasn't been around much in the aftermath.

RECAP: Okay so during Woodhurst he gave his regenerating blood to the cure effort and it worked, and alongside that he had slowly begun to develop a sense of tentative belonging on the team, beginning to develop an attachment of sorts, finally...but the Taxara stuff has kind of caused him to backslide, seeing as he still has a lot of resentment over the whole memory loss thing when it's something he'd been experiencing himself before ALASTAIR put a temporary halt to it. He enthusiastically engaged in the battle for Oska, but once it's over he's gonna slink off to be antisocial again, having come to the conclusion that his ideas are so divergent from everyone else's because of what he is (a weapon, not a person), and he can't realistically belong anywhere aside from where he's from.

PERSONALITY: olivia is the token Shy Character of her canon; generally soft-spoken and meek, her demure personality is at complete odds with her actual profession (and consequent attire) as a dancer. she tends to come off somewhat spineless in her interactions, mostly because she doesn't go out of her way to stand up for herself. she's got a fairly low self-esteem and thus quite quick to put herself down or ignore her achievements. nevertheless, she is a very nice and caring person (almost to the point of motherly) with a sensitive soul who lacks the confidence to Be The Person She Wants To Be, not really realizing She Kind of Sort of Maybe Already Is. also she cries a lot because feelings.

she's been in the game for over a year now, so she's had many ups and many downs. thanks to her alastair-given gifts, olivia has both full healing and empathy powers. this has given her the opportunity to be a little more certain of her place within the team, thereby giving her a bit of purpose. while it hasn't really helped solve all of her self-esteem issues, she is at least much more handy to have around in a pinch, and much more likely to speak up for herself.

DESIRED CR: since i copied and pasted everything else from the last cr meme, why not do it again here. 8);; while i am always eager to any and all types of cr (older sibling figures! little sibling figures! mentors! rivals! frenemies! confidants!), i think the type of cr i'm yearning for the most is someone gently persistent enough to coax olivia to talk a little bit more about herself. olivia, by nature, does not tend to think very highly of herself, and thus defaults to not thinking about herself at all, let alone talk about herself. and even when made or asked to, she is very quick to change the subject and deflect, and i realized she's been in futuro for over a year now and there are still only a small number of people who truly know her. i realize this sounds incredibly selfish but lsjdal hey it says "desired"...!

OFFERED CR: TO MAKE UP FOR THAT SELFISH REQUEST, please realize that any type of close cr with olivia will immediately result in: a caretaker, a coddler, someone to fuss over you and cry about your life esp if you find yourself unable to emote properly, etc. speaking of emotions, did i mention she's an empath? she can do things with your FEEFEES. you know... if you want. she is also quite the healer at this point (both magically and practically), so she can always be a mentor in that sense.

Somehow, he always looks like he knows what he's doing, and does his best to hold to that reputation. Despite at how well he holds up, here's a line-up of the issues: family issues, brother issues, existential and identity issues. Likes bacon, nail varnish, singing showtunes in the shower, pranking, writing slash fic and reading romance novels.

RECAP: he's been w audentes a whole year now, and as woodhurst was legitimately the worst for him he spent the time in terra felis just... not sleeping or eating much, fun times! in oska he used his shields in battle so much that he legit collapsed and now he's helping out with rebuilding because what is rest. on the brighter side, he got his bff back during the battle!
PLANS: uh yolo??? rebuilding, hanging out with his bff and probably doing the will smith hands thing at him a lot, trying to make sure sonia is still alive in her room ig...

Keats is a highly skeptical and very sarcastic Irish journalist for an obscure occult magazine, which is ironic, considering he doesn't actually believe in magic. Also, he actually has magical powers that allow him to use monstrous souls of the dead stored in his own body, so he's pretty much a GIANT HYPOCRITE (and walking talking soul jar). He's also a jerk who doesn't mind saying it how it is and shirking authority, and he tries very hard to be cool (he's not cool). When he's not being cynical and beating stuff up, he's actually...a good person? Sometimes? It happens.

Also, he's actually a magical fairy ghost self-insert OC created by a little kid, and he's (mostly) in complete and utter denial of his true nature. I wish I was making that up, but it's 1000% true.

DESIRED CR:
-POSITIVE CR. Keats doesn't have many friends, which is...understandable, given who Keats is. Still, he can be a good friend (if a very sarcastic one), so give him a chance and maybe he'll return the favor.
-MAGICAL PEOPLE. Keats has finally acknowledged his magical existence but still is a stick in the mud about it, and needs people he can practice/discuss magic with!
-TRICKSTERS/PEOPLE TO HAVE FUN WITH. Keats is actually far more mischievous than he lets on, and is totally willing to do rebellious things because he can. He will totally be your partner in crime. Totally.

-SUPER MAGICAL NERD. Keats is honestly a huge nerd. He will talk about mythology and legends for hours if you prod him. He is here to be anyone's fellow occult geek.

RECAP: Keats had a mostly alright time during Woodhurst, and was glad to finally get back to Oska and relieve stress by busting up a few robots. Also he's on the right track towards acknowledging what he is, and is finding support among his friends and new boyfriend. Overall, things are looking up in general, and Keats is sort of sailing on a wave of SUPER POSITIVE EMOTION. Time will tell if he'll crash down from that, though...
PLANS: None yet! Keats is just ready to punch things, he'll probably be a lookout position for this upcoming heist mission. If you want somebody to snark with while the cool hackers are doing their thing, Keats is your guy.

ANYTHING ELSE? I will be moving around the end of May, so I will be on hiatus from that time until probably the end of June. I'll tag as much as I can during May, but just a heads up that I might be slower than usual.
