TL;CR Meme
1. Post a top level with your character(s).
2. Respond to other people's top levels with your characters, most likely the ones you have CR between. Other people will respond to your top level in turn.
3. Tell them in as much detail as you like what your character thinks of theirs, and they'll do the same for you! Don't be afraid to wax poetic!
4. Revel in all the positive and/or negative CR you've hoarded like some kind of CR dragon.

Okay, so. In Sans' timeline, Mettaton "died" as far as the public is concerned. Or rather, his body broke and Alphys disappeared before fixing him. It didn't rattle Sans as much as it assuredly rattled everyone else in the Underground (Sans had his own tragedies going on), but still. Seeing him here is a strange reminder of the differences. Those feelings of things not adding up between timelines are normal to Sans, but having such a clear memory of the timeline he came from is definitely new. Thus, seeing MTT is still a little weird, even if he doesn't lean into that feeling much at all.
In a more direct sense, boy, THERE SURE IS SOME MONSTER STRIFE AROUND HERE HUH. I think Sans kinda wishes everyone would just chill out, and I think he (unfairly or not) sees MTT as a bit of a focal point of animosity. The eye of the storm, as you will, and with that comes some passive judgment. He doesn't know the whole story and he's not sure if he should or not, thanks to his own juggling between who he is and who he's pretending to be, but piecing it all together is slow work. Sans feels an awful lot of kinship with his fellow monsters and in their drastically dwindled numbers here, his lowkey priority is them just. Chilling everyone out. That being said, I don't think Sans is too optimistic about that at this point.
He's got some Hunches and Insights into who exactly MTT was and who he is now, because he's Sans. Nothing set in stone, but he'll keep nibbling around the edges of the truth until someone either smacks him back or confirms it.
MOSTLY HE JUST WANTS THESE MONSTERS TO FIND THEIR CHILL. But when MTT isn't flying off the handle, he's a pretty decent guy to hang out with. Sans likes him the same way he likes everyone -- friendly, but at an arms length.
